EDMOND D. EARLE ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The Earle Law Firm, LLC is pleased to announce the Edmond D. Earle Academic Scholarship for eligible undergraduate and law students seeking challenging, rewarding careers in law.
Applicants must be an upcoming freshman/sophomore at an accredited 4-year university or 1L/2L Law Student.
Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or above.
Must submit a current passport-style photo and 3 letters of recommendation, at least one of which must be from a teacher/professor.
Must submit a copy of official/unofficial transcript and upcoming semester class schedule.

Please answer one of the following three questions. Essays need to be at least 1000 words, double-spaced. Upcoming freshman/sophomores are to use MLA format. 1st-year/2nd-year law students are to use IRAC.
- Imagine you’re a criminal lawyer. What kind of policy would you push/steps would you take to reduce the crime in Birmingham?
- What is your stance on judicial overrides related to the death penalty? Defend.
- What area of law are you interested in pursuing and why? Detail one policy currently in play in the area you are interested in that you disagree with and one that you support.
